 FAQs

  • MAHA will use funds for a variety of purposes to promote hockey in our community.  These include:

    1. Marketing the sport at a variety of community events and school promotions.

    2. Purchasing equipment to introduce children to the sport.

    3. Offering financial assistance to families with children who want to play.

  • Yes, we will be happy to utilize your money for a specific purpose if desired.

  • Yes.  We plan to have a sponsors page on our website and will promote sponsors in our literature.  Of course, donors can request to remain anonymous.

  • Yes.  As a 501(c)(3) organization, we are classified as a charitable organization and donations are tax deductible.

  • If you can assist MAHA with your time or expertise, we’d welcome your contribution.  At present, we are in need of a 15X15 tent to use in promoting MAHA at community events, graphics/printing services, and web/social media expertise.

  • There is only one ice rink in the Memphis area and it’s called the Mid-South Ice House located in Olive Branch, MS.  This facility is approximately 15 minutes from both Collierville and Germantown.
